We automatically collect data about how you access and interact with our services, including time spent on features, clicks, device and browser type, and referral sources.

Spending & Offset Interaction Data (anonymised):

We collect anonymised usage patterns related to certificate purchases, offset behaviours, and referral actions. These are used for internal analytics, product optimisation, and monetisation through aggregated insights.

Marketing Communications

We may send you emails, push notifications, or in-app messages about ESG offers, CleanCents product updates, events, challenges, or educational content.

Note: You will still receive essential transactional or service-related messages (e.g., payment confirmations, updates to Terms or Privacy Policy).

Payments & Certificates

When you purchase a carbon offset certificate or subscribe to a premium feature, your payment may be processed through Apple In-App Purchases (IAP), Google Play Billing, or Stripe.
We do not store full payment details (e.g., card numbers). Stripe, Apple, and Google may collect personal data such as your name, email, and payment information as part of regulatory compliance.

After successful purchase, we securely transmit your name and email to trusted third-party certificate providers such as CarbonMark, Toucan Protocol, or other verified platforms.
These providers retire certificates in your name and return a proof of retirement or impact certificate, which is made available to you in your CleanCents app.

Affiliate Relationships

We may receive compensation when you sign up or invest through links in our app. We may also share minimal, anonymised data with ESG providers to improve offer targeting and conversion performance. You consent to this limited sharing during signup.
